Welcome to Ensign Bookkeeping!

I started my business for two reasons: I love supporting other peoples’ dreams and I want to empower people to have control over their finances.

I’ve found that having an expert ensuring that the books are continually and correctly organized is an absolute game changer for businesses looking to grow with a solid foundation. Without knowing your numbers, steady growth is ALWAYS unpredictable, leading to late nights and anxiety about where your business is going.

My goal is to take this off your plate so you get more of your time back to run your business or spend with your family.

  • If you currently don’t have a Quickbooks Online account, I am happy to switch you over or get you signed up. It is one of the best accounting tools for small businesses and the only software I work in.

  • I guide you through the entire process from beginning to end so you barely need to think about it.

    All you need to do is respond to my questions and provide documents when I request them.

    When we first start working together, there will be a short period of time where I am asking a lot of questions and gathering a lot of documents. This is so I can understand the specifics of your business and to make sure your books are accurately updated and show the complete picture.

    After this short time period, the time required of you will be significantly less.

    My goal is to streamline as much as possible so the questions are kept to a minimum and you can focus on running your business.

  • Absolutely. My job is to make your CPA’s job easy. Clean, organized books mean your tax prep goes faster, costs less, and your CPA can help you find more deductions.

  • All businesses vary in size and complexity, even within similar industries, so I need to review your specific situation to provide you an exact quote.

    I charge a flat monthly rate so you always know what your cost is every month, no surprise charges.

    My minimum charge is $250/month, and most businesses fall within the $350-$550/month range.

  • While I am located in Lakewood, WA and primarily support businesses in Tacoma and Seattle, I offer virtual bookkeeping services to businesses across the US.
